Each lamp ships in its protective safety cover inside a foam-lined export carton, by express courier. Xenon short-arc lamps are pressurised even when cold, so keep the cover on until the lamp is installed and follow the safety page.

Safety: xenon short-arc lamps are under high internal pressure, hot or cold. Wear a face shield and protective clothing when handling, and keep the safety cover on until the lamp is mounted. Read the handling guide.
